Itinerary
- Arrive at Colombo Airport
- Check into the Negombo Hotel and relax and enjoy the beach. Negombo
has added ornament of a picturesque lagoon, and a Dutch-built canal
Hamilton, running north & south and Negombo is a fishing village that
captures the imagination with the sparkling tropical sea, and the quaint
catamarans. - Overnight at Negombo Hotel.
- After breakfast at the hotel travel to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and
baby elephant milk feeding. - Next directly travel to Dambulla. Dambulla cave temple is a vast isolated
rock. Here is found the famous Rock temple dating to the first century B.C.
In the first cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha and images of deities
associated with Buddhism all around. - Afternoon enjoy Minneriya Nation Park and Eco Park. The renovated, vast
ancient Minneriaya rainwater reservoir that irrigates a considerable area of
the district of Polonnaruwa is the focal point of the Minneriya National
Park. - Evening checking into Dambulla hotel.
Overnight stay at Dambulla Hotel.
- After breakfast at Dambulla Hotel travel to Kingdom Anuradhapura.
- Explore kingdom Anuradhapura Ancient ruins. A ruined building located
in the inner-city area is identified by some scholars as the ruins of an
ancient royal palace. These ruins consist of massive stone pillars.
Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba is a stark white dome that was once one of the
world’s tallest buildings. - The Anuradhapura site will be completed in 2 hours and travel back to
Sigiriya, afternoon climb Sigiriya. Sigiriya is one of the most valuable
historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Referred by locals as the Eighth
Wonder of the World. - Evening stays at the same Dambulla hotel.
Overnight Dambulla hotel.
- After breakfast travel to the kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa
remains one of the best-planned archeological relic sites in the country.
[Royal palace, Audience Hall, Stone seat, Bosath shrine, Vatadage Buddha
statue] - After completing the Kingdom site travel back to Dambulla and check out
at Dambulla En route explore Dambulla cave temple and enjoy a free head
massage at Matale Spice Garden. The royal cave temples of Dambulla are
a UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of the central province of Sri
Lanka. - After noon travel directly to the Kingdom of Kandy. Royal Botanical
Garden- Peradeniya is a pleasure garden; some rare and endemic flora from
the tropical world is found in this garden. Kandy is one of the most sacred
sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic. - In Kandy evening enjoy the Kandy cultural dance show. so here, traditional
Kandyan dances include cobra, mask, and Ginisisila. [showing power over
fire] - In the evening check – in the Kandy hotel.
- After breakfast Kandy Hotel visits the Temple of Tooth. Kandy is one of
the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
It’s a world-renowned place of worship, where the left canine tooth of
Buddha is enshrined. - After completing the Temple of Tooth visit the Gem Museum.
- Next you can visit Batik and Silk Factory. After about 1.00 p.m. travel main city
of Colombo. - Around 4.00 p.m. we can reach Colombo.
- In Colombo we can visit Ganga Rama Temple, Galle Face, Lotus tower,
Diyatha uyana & Viharamaha devi park. - In the evening sightseen in Colombo.
- Evening check-in at Colombo Hotel.
- Overnight at Colombo Hotel.
- After breakfast relaxing work in Colombo and later travel airport.
